Travel Arrangements and Hotels in San Diego

When arranging for your flight to come to sunny San Diego, we have a few tips for you to find the best possible deal on airline flights. (Pricing and information based on September/October 2007)

  • Kayak.com tells you current fares from more than 120 sources. Click on the best deal and Kayak.com takes you to the site where you can buy the ticket.
  • When traveling from Arizona or Nevada, where Southwest Airlines is servicing the route, go directly to Southwest.com to check their rates.
  • Farecast.com predicts whether fares on your route will go up or down. Enter your itinerary and you will get information if you should buy your ticket now or if a better price will become available in the future for your flight plans. The predictions are based on past trends in airline databases and other factors.
  • Occasionally, airlines offer unbelievably low fares on selected flights and itineraries. Go to Airfarewatchdog.com to see if there is a bargain fare available for your city. Airfare Watchdog posts these bargains earlier than any other website. If you find a great deal, we suggest you book right away because these “fire sale” fares disappear very quickly.
